Mountain Biking in Colorado

It looks like Fruita is like Moab for mountain biking in Colorado. Check out the Go Pro action on this haul ass video:

What’d you think? Nice trail for some fast blasting huh? Nice vid of some nice mountain biking in Colorado – my only critique for chronodriver is to point the camera up a little higher, it seemed to get bonked down a few notches as the ride went on – had that same problem with my cam skiing.

Are you ready for some mountain biking in Colorado?

Here in Salida we have some awesome terrain right off of downtown and as far as Colorado mountain bike trails go, they rock! If you haven’t been here yet, you should be planning a mountain biking trip to get over here and get some for yourself.

Fruita . . . the Moab of mountain biking in Colorado

Have you been to Fruita? It’s beautiful over there. My Mom & Dad lived there for a time in the early 80s, so I was there but it was before my mountain biking days. Fruita has become a serious destination for mountain biking in Colorado for the obvious reasons you saw in the video – check out the maps for the mountain bike trails around Fruita.

Another cool thing about living in Salida is being able to make the quick trip to the top of Monarch Pass and to the start of the Monarch Crest Trail. Parts of  the Crest Trail include among others, The Colorado Trail and The Continental Divide Trail. It’s 35 miles of some incredible terrain; lot’s of climbing and even more technical downhill.

What’s your vote? Is mountain biking in Colorado the best anywhere?!
